Rybachka Sonya is a family business since 2007. We brought our recipes and soul from Odesa, and opened our own production and stores in Bulgaria. We pick suppliers personally and make everything by our own recipes.

Rybachka Sonya is a family business born from a love of fish, seafood and genuine traditions. Our inspiration is the legendary Odesa Pryvoz, the gastronomic heart of Odesa, where fresh fish, the craft of preparing it and its unique taste have been cherished for almost two centuries. It was there that the recipes passed down through generations were born, and they became the foundation of our business.

Since 2007 we have preserved these traditions, combining them with modern quality standards. Today our own production is in Bulgaria, where we dry, smoke and pack the products ourselves. We carefully select suppliers, control every stage of production and maintain the cold chain, so that only fresh and natural delicacies reach your table.

Where it began — the Odesa Pryvoz

This is where the story of Rybachka Sonya begins. The legendary Odesa Pryvoz is a place where the traditions of the fish trade have lived for almost two centuries, and love for the sea is passed down through generations. It was among the famous fish rows — always filled with the aroma of fresh fish, lively Odesa humour and a special atmosphere — that our family business was born. Here we learned to choose the best fish, picked up recipes for salting, drying and smoking, met true masters of the craft and understood that real quality begins with respect for tradition.

Founded in 1827, the Pryvoz became a symbol of Odesa's culinary culture. Its fish pavilions, with their huge selection of Black Sea fish and seafood, inspired us to start our own business, which grew over time into a family production. And today, even working in Bulgaria, we keep that same spirit of the Odesa Pryvoz — honesty, quality, generosity and the unique taste that begins with a love of the sea.
